Thane, September 30: The Dombivli Medical Aid Trust has been presenting the “Healthcare Service Profession Award” every year to individuals working in the healthcare sector as well as those engaged in scial service. This is regarded as a highly prestigious recognition.

This year, the distinguished award was conferred upon Dr. Dayanand Kumbla (M.D. [Medicine], D.M. [Interventional Cardiology]), a renowned cardiologist from Thane and a dedicated social worker. The felicitation ceremony took place on
September 28 at Sahyog Mandir Hall, Naupada, Thane, in the presence of the Trust’s President, Dr. Vishwas Puranik, and other esteemed dignitaries.

For the past 24 years, the Medical Aid Trust has been honoring eminent and respected doctors through this award. Dr. umbla was chosen this year in recognition of his significant contributions to healthcare and social service.
